Expanding Treasure In Heaven

As you know, our Build A School campaign via Facebook ended on Christmas day, and we raised near $700 solely from our Facebook fans! Wow! What a blessing. Thanks to all of you who participated in this effort.

Above is the blueprint for the school we are going to build. In February, the orphanage will receive visits from a board member, and hopefully we can get things moving a bit quicker on the school.

As far as the orphanage is concerned, we are needing to expand there also. John, our man in charge in Liberia, has said that we have around 64 kids now in House 5 and need to enlarge the hall, add more dining tables, and complete the plumbing!

The great thing is that we can accomplish this task because of the donations and interest we receive from people (like you) who have either traveled to Africa and know the conditions of orphanages, or those who have been informed by others who have traveled and experienced it hands-on.

Regardless, here's to a new year of making dreams come true for our children in Liberia.
